- Follow I-35 or I-80 to the west end of the Des Moines metro area.
- Follow I-35 to Exit 70 (Mills Civic Parkway).
- Turn east on Mills Civic Parkway, and drive about 11/2 miles to 35th Street in West Des Moines. (Mills Civic Parkway will angle to the left before you turn off.)
- Turn south (right) on 35th Street.
- Valley Southwoods is about a quarter mile south on the right side of 35th Street. There is ample parking by the school.
